PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a physiologically active complex (particularly a complex capable of maintaining stably for a long term its useful physiological activities, such as physiological activities that physiologically active substances derived from animal and plants have, in particular antiallergic, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial and antiviral actions that catechins and their generic substances have), and also obtain a composition for external applications to which this complex is formulated. SOLUTION: This physiologically active complex comprises a pulverized organic polymeric material, typically a fabric product, and a physiologically active substance, or a physiologically active substance derived from an animal or plant, for example, a catechin and its generic substance, combined with the organic polymeric material preferably by staining method. This physiologically active complex can be made available as compositions for external applications by formulation in the form of cosmetics, quasi-pharmaceutics and pharmaceutics. |
