PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner provided with handle high in handleability and water-tightness by installing a motor inside a shell-shaped assembly, then performing the injection molding of a shell-shaped cover around the shell-shaped assembly. SOLUTION: In this cleaner 10, two halved members 26 of a shell-shaped assembly 22 are made symmetric and mutually coupled by a single screw through a hole 28 and a metal ring 31 before and behind the half divided members 26. The halved members 26 have blocks 32, 34, 36 and 38 for attaching a battery 16, motor 18, switch 40 and optional mount 42 and the external parts of the half divided members 26 have rising faces. After the halved members 26 are assembled and the motor is installed inside the shell-shaped assembly 22, the injection molding of a cover 24 onto the shell-shaped assembly 22 is performed. The cover 24 forms an outer film on the almost whole shell-shaped assembly 22 and forms a handle guard part 66. The handle guard part 66 is extended along the bottom part of the cleaner 10 between the rear end part of a handle part 68 and the bottom part of a front head part 70. |
