COMPOSITION FOR TREATMENT OF AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE MEDIATED BY LEU3 EXPRESSION-TYPE T CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition containing an anti-Leu3 (CD4) antibody and a diluting agent, useful for the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as disseminated sclerosis and applicable by parenteral administration. SOLUTION: This composition is usually a cytotoxic isotype one and contains (A) a therapeutically active amount of anti-Leu3 (CD4) and (B) a diluting agent to form an easily administrable drug. The active amount is preferably determined to be sufficient for decreasing a Leu3 (CD) expression-type T cell by about 90%, the Leu3 means a specific membrane antigen limited to human helper T cell and the composition is preferably administered at a rate of about 10-100mg for adult.
