PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fitting workability without spoiling an appearance by constituting a seal strip into a hollow double construction out of a vehicle exterior seal piece of sponge material and a vehicle interior seal piece of solid material. SOLUTION: The seal lip 6 of a weather strip 1 is constituted into a hollow double construction by combiningly fitting a vehicle exterior seal piece 6a of a curved sponge material to a vehicle interior seal piece 6b of a solid material on the back side at a little inner position 8 from the extreme end 7. Because the seal piece 6b inside the vehicle of large rigidity is provided on the back side of the seal piece 6a outside the vehicle of sponge material in this way, when the outer circumferential part of the seal lip 6 is curved and moved inward in the corner part of the weather strip 1, dents can be restrained because the lip is reinforced by the seal piece 6b inside the vehicle of solid material. The extreme end 7 of the seal piece 6a is made of sponge material so as to be large in frictional resistance, and hence when it is contacted with a body panel P, the outer circumferential part of the seal lip 6 is hardly moved. |
