PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roofing material having a solar battery panel and allowing an easy erection work by preliminarily housing the solar battery panel in the roof material before the manufacture thereof. SOLUTION: A roofing material main body 17 is integrally formed to have a dished part 14 at a central part a male engagement part 15 continuous to one side of the dished part 14, and a female engagement part 16 continuous to the other side of the dished part 14 for engagement with the male engagement part 15 of an adjacent roof material 11. Then, the dished part 14 of the roofing material main body 17 is used as a housing part for the storage of a solar battery panel 18.
