<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce hydrogen chloride in exhaust gas without damaging a special treatment, even in the case of supplying chlorine-containing macromolecular resin, in a scrap melting method executed by supplying synthetic resin kind together with pulverized fine coal into a shaft furnace. SOLUTION: In the scrap melting method, the scrap as an iron source and coke are charged into the shaft furnace from a furnace top part and the pulverized fine coal and O2 or O2 -containing gas is blown through combustion burners of tuyere parts, and the synthetic resin material is supplied into the furnace by blowing with the combustion burner and/or by charging from the furnace top part and the scrap is melted with the combustion heat of the pulverized fine coal, etc., and also, the synthetic resin material supplied in the furnace is treated by burning or thermal-decomposing. In such a case, the exhaust gas containing dust exhausted from the furnace top part is made to the accompanied state of the dust for at least 5 sec at <=500 deg.C gas temp. after exhausting the furnace top part to absorb the hydrogenchlorine contained in the exhaust gas into the dust and thereafter, the dust in the exhaust gas is collected and removed.</p> |
