摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the distribution property of the intake air to each intake piping by providing an expansion part to be projected downward on a chamber bottom surface of the prescribed shape interposed in the middle of an intake manifold, and connecting a tip of each intake pipeline to a bottom surface of the expansion part. SOLUTION: An intake manifold 12 comprises a chamber 13 extending to a longitudinal side 10a of an internal combustion engine, and three intake pipelines 14 connected at a flange part 14a in the horizontal direction so as to be communicated with an intake port 11 to each cylinder. An expansion part 16 to be projected downward from a bottom surface of the chamber 13 is provided so that the expansion part 16 is extended in the longitudinal direction of the chamber 13, and a tip of each intake pipeline 14 is connected to a bottom surface of the expansion part 16. A longitudinal side 13a on a internal combustion engine 10 side of the chamber 13 and a longitudinal side 16a on the internal combustion engine 10 side of the expansion part 16 are formed so as not to be projected to the internal combustion engine 10 side from a side 14a of the internal combustion engine 10 side. The intake flow speed in the longitudinal direction in the chamber 13 is reduced to improve the distribution property of the intake to each intake pipeline 14.</p>
