<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject material impregnated with an odor-preventing/ deodorizing ceramic material even to the inside of a base material and excellent in adsorbing property for a pollen, etc., by bringing the base material into contact with an acidic liquid containing a calcium phosphate and then with an alkaline liquid. SOLUTION: This method for producing a calcium phosphate-impregnated material is constituted by making a base material such as a sponge obtained by using a nonwoven fabric, a filter paper, a natural fiber, a synthetic fiber and a high polymeric material, a wood, etc., with an acidic liquid (preferably pH<=3) containing a calcium phosphate having 1.0-2.0 atomic ratio of Ca/P, and then with an alkaline liquid (preferably pH>=9) to obtain a calcium phosphate-impregnated material useful for a mask for preventing pollinosis, a filter for preventing nosocomical infection, etc.</p> |
