<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dewatering efficiency of a screw press type dewatering machine provided with a gravity dewatering region and a pressure dewatering region. SOLUTION: A screw press type dewatering machine comprises a gravity dewatering region 4a and a pressure dewatering region 4b. A scraper 10 made of rubber, a synthetic resin or other substance which is more flexible than the material of inner screens 3a, 3b and has the restoring elasticity, is continuously or discontinuously provided on an outer circumferential part of a screw blade 2b of a screw shaft 2 located in the gravity dewatering region 4a in a condition where the scraper is slightly projected outward so that condensed filling of the solid content is possible.</p> |
