PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely increase the supply amt. of a raw material without increasing the ratio of an auxiliary raw material to a main raw material. SOLUTION: In a screw type kneading extruder 1 having a main raw material supply apparatus connected to its rear end part and having an auxiliary raw material supply apparatus 3 connected to its intermediate part, when a supplied raw material is increased during steady operation, at first, the supply amt. of the main raw material supply apparatus 2 is increased and, thereafter, the rise of the resin pressure on the downstream side of the connection part of the auxiliary raw material supply apparatus 3 of the screw type kneading extruder 1 is detected and, at the same time, the supplied raw material of the auxiliary raw material supply apparatus is increased. Therefore, resin pressure sensors 8, 8a are provided on the downstream side of the connection part of the auxiliary raw material supply apparatus 3 of the screw type kneading extruder 1 and connected to a control apparatus 7 by control cables 7f, 7g and a command is issued for the control apparatus 7 to designate the increase amt. to the auxiliary raw material supply apparatus 3 on the basis of the pressure signals of the resin pressure sensors 8, 8a. |
