CONTINUOUS ELECTROMAGNETIC POLISHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously perform charging - polishing - discharging of a polishing object by an electromagnetic polishing device having no rotational mechanism. SOLUTION: A rotating field is generated in a cylindrical container 8 of a nonmagnetic material stored in a cylindrical hollow part of a cylindrical iron core 7 by running three-phase alternating current through electromagnets 1 to 6 having a winding wound around vertical grooves on the inside of the cylindrical iron core 7. A polishing object 17 is charged into the central part of the container 8 from the top and a leading-in tube 9 induced through a bottom hole is fixed to the container 8 center, while a spiral protrusion 14 is provided on the inner wall of the container 8. The container 8 rotationally moves with high speed and makes a liquid polishing material 16 flow around in the container 8 by the rotating field when numbers of magnetic material pieces 15 are put into the container 8. Polishing objects 17 are moved upward by the protrusion 14 as being polished and discharged outside by a roller 12.
