PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a purification material which efficiently reduces and removes NOx from waste combustion gas contg. NOx, a larger amt. of oxygen than the theoretical amt. of oxygen reacting with unburned components, SOx and moisture by mixing a specified 1st catalyst with a specified 2nd catalyst. SOLUTION: A 1st catalyst obtd. by carrying 0.2-15wt.% (expressed in terms of elemental silver) one or more kinds of elements and/or compds. selected from among silver and silver compds. on alumina or a multiple or mixed oxide consisting of alumina and one or more among titania, silica, zirconia, zinc oxide, tin oxide and magnesium oxide is mixed with a 2nd catalyst obtd. by carrying 0.2-15wt.% (expressed in terms of elemental silver) one or more kinds of elements and/or compds. selected from among silver and silver compds. on tin oxide or a multiple or mixed oxide consisting of tin oxide and one or more among titania, silica, zirconia, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide to obtain the objective waste gas purification material. |
