<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently accurately and efficiently determine the relationship between a blood pressure value and pulse propagation speed information of a living body in a blood pressure monitoring device with which the blood pressure value of the living body is monitored based on the propagation speed information of pulse waves propagated in the artery of the living body. SOLUTION: Based on pulse wave propagation time DTRP, a plural estimated blood pressure values calculating means 92 respectively calculates plural estimated blood pressure values EBPm from plural correspondent relation candidates Rm prepared by a correspondent relation candidate preparing means 90 and when change widthΔEVPm of any one of plural estimated blood pressure values EBPm calculated by the plural estimated blood pressure values calculating means 92 exceeds a judgement reference valueΔEBP1 set in advance, the blood pressure of the living body is measured while using a cuff by a blood pressure measuring means 70 under the control of a 2nd cuff measurement executing means 94 and among the plural estimated blood pressure valuesΔEBPm calculated by the plural estimated blood pressure values calculating means 92, the correspondent relation candidate determining the estimated blood pressure value closest to the blood pressure value of the living body provided by the 2nd cuff measurement executing means 92 is selected as the correspondent relation to be used for an estimated blood pressure value determining means 78 by a correspondent relation selecting means 96.</p> |
