<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and to save labor for maintenance. SOLUTION: An auxiliary rail 9, which is arranged in a traverse carriage 2, is freely moved between an action position 30, in which the auxiliary rail 9 is extended from a main rail 6, and a non-action position 31, in which the auxiliary rail 9 is retracted from the operation position 30. While the traverse carriage 2 is positioned in front of an autoclave, the auxiliary rail 9 is held in the action position 30. In this way, an elevating carriage 3 can be moved from the main rail 6 to the second fixed rail 38 via the auxiliary rail 9 when the auxiliary rail 9 and the second fixed rail 38 are connected together. As the auxiliary rail 9 is arranged in the traverse carriage 2, converter slag can be conveyed not only to the autoclave but also to other facilities if necessary without requiring installation of any additional auxiliary rail 9, so that reductions in cost and in maintenance labor can be accomplished.</p> |
