摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a transparent or translucent heatsensitive recording material of superior head matching properties in which sticking, adhesion of settings and head wearing are scarcely generated by containing polymethyl methacrylate particles crosslinked in a recording layer. SOLUTION: Crosslinked polymethyl methacylate particles are contained in a recording layer. The crosslinked polymethyl methacrylate particles are formed by turning a three-dimensional crosslinked material of a polymethyl methacrylate polymer into particles. As for its manufacturing process, the process of reacting the polymethyl methacrylate polymer with a proper crosslinking material such as a melamine resin, block isocyanate or epoxy resin, or the process of using a multifunctional monomer for a part of a raw material monomer such as methyl methacrylate and carrying out the copolymerization, or some other process is used. It is effective to set the volume average particle diameter of crosslinked polymethyl methacrylate particles as 0.1-1.0μm and the volume fraction of particle diameter of 3.0μm or less as 90% or more.
