STRETCHABLE COMPOSITE SHEET FOR SANITARY GOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a stretchable composite sheet for sanitary goods having the stretchability in the transverse direction and a high surface strength and further an excellent touch feeling. SOLUTION: This stretchable composite sheet for sanitary goods is composed of a continuous filament group obtained by melt spinning a thermoplastic resin and is prepared by treating a spunbonded nonwoven fabric having a regular and intermittent self-fusing area with a jet water stream, providing a stretchable nonwoven fabric having 10-200g/25mm width elastic stress when elongated at 50% in the transverse direction, laminating or combining the resultant stretchable nonwoven fabric with a stretchable sheet having 50-200g/25mm elastic stress when elongated at 50% in the transverse direction and an elastic recovery force and laminating and compounding both the nonwoven fabrics with the sheet. The composite sheet has 70-300g/25mm width elastic stress when elongated at 50% in the transverse direction and 80-95% recovery ratio when released from the stress.
