PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an operation output and simultaneously to achieve maximum efficiency and discharge of a minimum toxic substance. SOLUTION: In a method for operating a composite cycle plant, to increase the operation output of a steam turbine 17, at least one steam amount 50 regulated by a regulation device C is taken out in a spot proper to a pressure. The steam amount 50 is fed in a proper spot to a gas turbine group. To maintain an output generated in a manner described above, an influence is exercised on at least one of regulation amounts D and E of fuel amounts 5 and 6 of combustion chambers 4 and 9.
