PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate steering operation and take a getting-on/off part large so as to improve getting-on/off performance by providing an engine in the state of being inclined lower toward the rear side, and inclining an oscillating shaft of a front axle for suspending front wheels below the engine, lower toward the rear from the side view. SOLUTION: In a riding lawn mower, a front axle 1 is journaled at its lateral intermediate part to a machine frame 8 through an oscillating shaft 1, and the oscillating shaft 2 is installed being inclined by an angleθin the direction of approaching the ground surface toward the rear side from the side view in relation to a gas advance direction. King pins 7 are turnably journaled to both ends of the front axle 1 through bearings 6, but each king pin 7 is journalled at its base part to the bearing part 6 with a king pin angle inclined outward by an angleα, and its lower end is bent outward in L-shape and its protruding part is made an axle 4. An engine is mounted on a machine body being inclined lower toward the rear side so that the position of a driving saft is lowered, and a getting-on/off part can be set low.
