<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metal siding which can effectively suppress occurrence of warp due to an environmental change with day which has hereinbefore frequently occurred. SOLUTION: The method for producing a metal siding of a threelayer structure obtained by laminating a metal surface material 1 on one side surface of a core material made of synthetic resin foam 12 and a rear surface sheet 2 on the other side surface comprises the step of heat treating to thermally contract the sheet 2 in advance in case of producing the siding. The method preferably comprises as its production system, the steps of pouring foamable resin stock solution between the material 1 and the sheet 2 to continuously convey it into heating furnaces 8, 8, thereby foaming it between conveyors 9 disposed at upper and lower positions, and cutting an obtained lengthy integral foamed molding of a continuous production system, and thermally contracting the sheet 2 in advance in the state that a shrinkage allowance is zero.</p> |
