<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism of a removable battery box which enables the battery box to be easily installed by one hand without requiring key operations. SOLUTION: In the lock mechanism 36 of a removable battery box 32, a hook 51 is supported in such a way as to be movable relative to a cylinder 46 and is activated in its projecting direction, and a taper face 51b is formed at the end of the hook 51 so that the lock mechanism is unlocked by the operation of installing the locked battery box 32 and locked at the same time as completion of installation of the battery box 32. By locking the lock mechanism 36 after removal of the batter box 32, the lock mechanism 36 is unlocked automatically by the subsequent operation of installing the battery box 32 and the battery box 32 is installed. Since the lock mechanism 6 is unlocked at the same time as completion of installation of the battery box 32, the need for troublesome key operations is eliminated, and the battery box 32 can be installed easily by one hand.</p> |
