PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for proliferating unicellular multinuclear algae in a large amount by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This method for proliferating unicellular multinuclear algae comprises maturing unicellular multinuclear algae, collecting organelle containing nucleus from the inside of a cell, culturing the organelle containing the collected nucleus and regenerating individual of unicellular multinuclear algae from the cultured nucleus. In the method, the unicellular multinuclear algae are matured by pouring a liquid containing a di- or polyvalent metal salt into the cell. |
