PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anticorrosive and sound-proofing performance by providing a specified range of film thick thermosetting resin layer on all or partial inner face of a sectionally-closed panel structure and arranging another panel inside the sectionally-closed panel structure in parallel to the sectional direction. SOLUTION: After a body side panel is press-molded, a 50-300μfilm thick thermosetting resin coat 7 is applied to an inner face between a sill outer 5 and a sill inner 3 corresponding to an outer panel and an inner panel, respectively, at the lower part of the body side panel, where a sill structure is located. A gusset 6 is additionally arranged in parallel to the sectional direction of the inner face of the sill between the sill outer 5 and the sill inner 3 and then the sill outer 5 and the sill inner 3 are spot-welded together, assembled and given formation and electrodeposition. In this way, anticorrosive and sound- proofing performance is improved.
