PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be excellent in decorative designability and stain resistance as a face material and a member for a bathroom by forming at least a pattern layer and a fluororesin surface layer on a backing. SOLUTION: In a decorative material, at least a pattern layer 2 for giving designability and a fluororesin surface layer 3 for giving water resistance, moisture resistance, and stain resistance useful for the interior decoration of a bathroom are formed on a substrate 1. Generally the hardness of the surface layer 3 is not so high, and when the layer 3 is extremely thin, since it is hurt and a backing is exposed to deteriorate stain resistance, the thickness the layer 3 is made at least 20μm. Besides, a fluororesin is rather expensive and not so good at transparency. Since the unnecessarily thick layer 3 is not preferable in terms of a price and a design, the thickness is made 500μm or less. In the decorative material, after surface treatment being applied as required to both sides of a fluororesin film which constitutes a fluororesin layer 2, the pattern layer 2 is formed, and it is laminated on the backing 1 through an adhesive layer 4.
