PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain mechanical strength, discoloration resistance, coloring resistance, and aesthetic appreciation over a long period of time and improve bending elastic modulus and impact strength by impregnating a communicating hole of a porous ceramics with resin. SOLUTION: A porous ceramics is formed from a network-forming oxide such as B2 O3 , P2 O5 , Al2 O3 , ZrO2 , Sb2 O3 including SiO2 and the like, and its communicating hole is impregnated with resin. For example, the ceramics is made by containing a very small amount of MgO, CaO or the like in ceramic using about 67wt. parts SiO2 , about 20wt. parts Al2 O3 , about 6wt. parts K2 O, and about 6wt. parts Na2 O. A binder mixed liquid composed of sublimation hydrocarbon compound is added to powder obtained by grinding the above ceramics, kneaded and burnt. Subsequently, after coupling, resin impregnation and polymerization processing for resin is conducted. The obtained dental material can be improved in physical property such as bending strength or the like and discoloration change resistance. |
