PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a subject person with an artificial arm without strongly pressing part of a body of the person by filling elecroviscous fluid in an artificial arm formed to be freely bent for utilizing characteristics of the electroviscous fluid, and applying a voltage for fixing the artificial arm after the artificial arm is tightly applied to the body of the person. SOLUTION: The whole body of an arm part 2 is coated with a tube 3 formed of liquid-tight and flexible insulation coating, and plural strips of cloth electrodes 4 fabricated of flexible conductive thin wires and infiltration type flexible insulation thin wires are collected and contained in the arm part 2. The tube 3 is sealed at both ends, and electroviscous fluid 6 is filled in it to be without leaking outside. The cloth electrode 4 comprises two of the conductive thin wires folded at both ends of a cloth to compose warps or wefts, and the insulation thin wires woven between the conductive thin wires, a positive and a negative terminals are installed on one end of the conductive thin wires, with the other end of them opened, and voltages of different polarities are applied to the conductive thin wires. |
