摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain rotating capability and push-in capability by forming a tubular body with polymer, and reinforcing the same with a metal mesh formed by a filament of a specified form. SOLUTION: A tube main body of a catheter comprises an inner liner 21, an intermediate wire mesh winding 22, and an outer jacket 23. It is desirable that the inner liner 21 is formed by polymer with a coefficient of friction of 0.50 or less, for example, tetrafluoroethylene 0.0010 to 0.0050 inch think. This coefficient of friction can facilitate insertion of the catheter. The reinforcing winding 22 is formed by a filament formed by stainless steel wires in one on one form, and installed on the inner liner 21. It is desirable that the diameter of the stainless steel is about 0.0010 to 0.0050 inch, and the section is circular. The outer jacket 23 has a hardness of about 38D to about 74D to reinforce the push-in capability and the rotating capability of this side part of a guide catheter.
