PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sanitary property, physiological property, closely contact performance and wearing performance by arranging and bundling chemical long fibers substantially in the longitudinal direction to form a flexible round bar-like core, and covering the core with a flexible film to blind the bundled fibers. SOLUTION: A flexible bar-like core (t) formed by a long fiber bundle of chemical fibers is coated with a flexible film (r). The bundled body is bound to form an earplug. This manufacture for a cigarette. For example, about 12,000 acetate single yarn with fineness of about 3 denier are bundled to create a round bar-like bundled body with a thickness of about 8mm. This body is covered with polyester nonwoven fabric with a single yarn finess denier and with a weighting of 40g/m<2> and cut to about 20mm to manufacture an earplug. The earplug is sanitary and can be simply discharged and be suitably provided as a throw-away earplug. |
