PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress initial slip generated when a vehicle running on the road having a low frictional coefficient is shifted down. SOLUTION: A condition for starting slip control are, (1) a road is a lowμpassage in a Step 101, (2) non-linear target opening TPDL which is set according an acceleration opening is a prescribed value To or below in a Step 102, (3) it is a shift-down operation time in Step 103. When all those conditions are satisfied, a slip control start condition is set up, an initial value of a slip control target opening TSFT is calculated using a map which is set beforehand and a mathematical expression according to a car speed V and a shift position PSFT (I) [= a change gear rate] in a Step 104. A real throttle opening is imediately opened to the initial value of the slip control target opening TSFT when shiftdown is operated, and then, slip control is started.
