<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retail the surface in clean condition by forming a surface layer having such a structure that both hydrophilic part exposed as to bring photocatalytic oxide particles into contact with outside air, and water-repelling part exposed as to bring water-repelling fluororesin into contact with outside air are dispersed, on the surface of an automotive body. SOLUTION: A surface layer is formed on the automotive body surface of an automobile and the surface layer has such a structure that both hydrophilic part exposed as to bring photocatalytic oxide particles into contact with outside air and water-repelling part exposed as to bring water-repelling fluororesin into contact with outside air are dispersed in microscopic level. With such a structure in which hydrophilic surface and water-repelling surface exist adjacently, hydrophilic adhering substances have no affinity to the water-repelling parts and hydrophobic adhering substances have no affinity to the hydrophilic parts, so that the hydrophilic adhering substances and the hydrophobic adhering substances cannot be fixed in the member surface and the surface is kept in clean state. Moreover, metals such as Ag, Cu, Zn, etc., may be added to the surface layer and microbes and mold adhering to the surface are therefore sterilized.</p> |
