LINEAR MONITORING DEVICE FOR REAR VIEW IN PIPE PROPULSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent meandering of following pipes without requiring a high degree of skill. SOLUTION: A pipe propulsion method concerned includes a linear monitoring device for rear view which monitors the folded/bent condition of following pipes relative to one another, wherein the monitoring device is constituted of a camera 10 to photograph the ends of following pipes 7 and 2 positioned on the side with a leading element 1, a lighting apparatus to irradiate the ends of the following pipes 7 and 2, and a monitor board which displays the photographing results and allows the operator to monitor the following pipes. According to the displayed results, the operator can know the folded/bent condition of the following pipes.
