Procedure for determining efficiency in the application of anti-caking coatings. The procedure is used to determine whether an anti-caking agent of a fluorescent nature has been applied correctly as a coating material, on products in the form of grains which are intended to be protected so that they can be properly preserved in storage. The grains 2 supposedly coated with the anti-caking substance are arranged in an orderly fashion in a prismatic box 1, forming alignments in a single layer, so that by introducing the boxes 1 with the grains 2 into a camera obscura 3, through an aperture 4 in the latter, the observer can quickly see both if the coating of the grains is correct and the number of grains that each box contains, this view being achieved as a result of the fact that the grains 2 to be viewed have the property of being fluorescent and are illuminated by means of an ultraviolet light projector. The procedure is applicable to the inspection of products such as granulated fertilizers, before being stored. <IMAGE>
