What is described is an apparatus for needling a nonwoven 6, with at least one needle board 2 capable of being driven back and forth in the pricking direction and with a nonwoven guide consisting of a stitch base 4 located opposite the needle board 2 and of a stripper 5 provided between the stitch base 4 and the needle board 2, the stitch base 4 forming in the needle region portions which are inclined differently in the nonwoven run-through direction 14. In order to provide advantageous needling conditions, it is proposed that the stitch base 4 have, with its differently inclined portions merging continuously into one another in the needle pricking region, an average inclination which ascends or descends in the nonwoven run-through direction 14. <IMAGE> |
