SOLUTION: An operation device 1 of a central console 2 acts to select the menu, partial menu or the functions included in the partial menu of the vehicle. These functions are displayed on the display in the visual field of a person using the vehicle. A cursor is positioned on the surface of the display by the operation device 1 and the operation member 5 for this purpose is movable in a frame 7 and is guided along a guide 6. The operation member 5 consists of a carriage 8 and a slider 9. The movement of the slider 9 on the carriage 8 is detected and is converted to rotating motion. The motion is detected by an electric motor and is converted to the adjustment command of the cursor, by which the assistance of the movement of the slider 9 by the electric motor and the tactual feedback thereof to an operating person are made possible.
