摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the tracking of a target selected from targets containing targets whose tracking is not required buy providing a target discriminating unit which calculates the maximum mean received power and target Doppler cell number from inputted information to discriminate the target. SOLUTION: A target discriminating unit inputs doppler cells from a signal processing unit and performs an initializing procedure 28 of search cell location for searching through reception bands. A processing procedure 29 to determine whether a target is present or not is searched through all the cells in reception bands. The processing procedures 31 to determined whether the searched cells are consecutive or not are performed. And in the case when the cells that the target is present are consecutive, the lump of the cells are determined as one target to calculate the average of the received power of three cells including both ends of the doppler cells of the range of presence by a procedure 32. The cell number of the maximum electric power is obtained by procedure 34. In the case when the cell is clone, means received power is calculated by a procedure 35. The maximum mean received power and target doppler cell number of each target as discriminated target information are stored by a procedure 38.</p>
