<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain practical use in a long time for a battery-driven equipment or the like by saving power consumption when an input to a touch panel is not present by using a coordinate detecting circuit and a touch detecting circuit while switching them according to the input state. SOLUTION: When an operator depresses the film of a touch panel 9 by a touch detecting circuit with a finger or a pen 27 or the like, transparent resistance films at the upper side and lower side of the touch panel 9 are brought into contact with each other. Thus, a DC signal impressed to an electrode 15 of the touch panel 9 is conducted with the transparent resistance film at the lower side of the touch panel 9, transmitted to an electrode 18, and transferred through a switch element 11 to an invertor 12. The output of the invertor 12 is transmitted to a controlling part 14 as a control signal 19 while the logic level is turned into a low level. When the control signal 19 is turned into a low level, the controlling part 14 confirms the depression on the touch panel 9, and switches an output signal 22 to a coordinate detecting circuit.</p> |
