<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reproduction of a disturbed video in spite of the connection order of signal lines between the electronic endoscope and a video signal processor by providing an output inhibition means for inhibiting the output of a serial digital video signal while a phase locking detection means detects phase locking. SOLUTION: The phase locking detection circuit 52 is connected to an output control signal processing circuit 54. When the phase clocking detection circuit 52 detects a phase locking state, an output signal level to the output control signal circuit 54 changes from low to high. When a disable/enable signal from the output control signal processing circuit 54 to a parallel/serial converter 26 is the low level, namely, when the phase locking detection circuit 52 does not detected the phase locking state, the parallel/serial converter 26 is in the disable state and the output of the serial digital video signal is stopped. When the signal is in the high level, namely, when the phase locking state is detected, the converter is set to the enable state and the output of the serial digital video signal becomes possible.</p> |
