PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To travel at a proper gear step in accordance with car speed. SOLUTION: It is furnished with an automobile telephone CT mounted on a vehicle, a car shift mode selection switch 210 to select either of an automatic shift mode and a manual shift mode and indicate it and a shift control means to control shift under either of the shift modes in response to an indicated signal, and it is devised to change over to the automatic shift mode in a receiving state by providing a manual shift mode output judgement means to judge whether a signal to indicate the manual shift mode is output or not, a receiving state output judgement means to judge whether a signal to indicate that the automobile telephone CT is in the receiving state is output or not and a release means to release setting of the manual shift mode at the time when the signal to indicate that the automobile telephone CT is in the receiving state is output in a state where the signal to indicate the manual shift mode is output. |
