PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple and easy stereoscopic picture display system by constituting a stereoscopic screen including a main screen to be a wide size screen and a sub-screen obtained by compressing the wide size screen in the vertical direction at a specific ratio and arranged on the remaining part of the main screen. SOLUTION: A stereoscopic screen including a main screen to be a wide size screen and a sub-screen obtained by compressing the wide size screen to about 1/3 in the vertical direction and arranged on the residual part of the main screen is constituted on the unit screen of a reference size screen. The system is constituted of connecting a transformation device 1T, a display device 1D and a shutter device 1S. The device 1T transforms the unit screen picture data 1N of stereoscopic picture information constituted of dividing the unit screen into right and left screen data 1R, 1L, stores the data 1R, 1L and outputs these data 1R, 1L by an independent clock signal 1K. The device 1D displays the outputted data 1R, 1L time-dividedly by the clock signal 1K. The device 1S switches the display of the right and left screens on the screen of the device 1D by the clock signal 1K. |
