PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make room air conditioning comfortable by accurately removing fine dusts, offensive odor gas molecules, molds, fungi and the like unremovable with a filter, which grow in a room or infiltrate from outdoors and are contained in circulated air from the room in the room air conditioning. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger (e) in a room air conditioning apparatus is of a wet type. A water-containing material 1 comprising a porous material is wetted by water kept at a proper temperature by a temperature adjustor 8 and outside air taken in as circulated air and fresh air from a room (a) is circulated through the room in contact with a wet surface of the material 1. The contact with the wet surface allows the removal of pollutants such as fine dusts or offensive odor molecules which can not be removed with a filter (c). |
