PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device without less generation of abnomal image and in which material component forming a toner carrier shifted to a photo receptor in its pressure welded portion even if the developing device is stopped for a long time with the toner carrier such as a developing roller being pressure welded with a drum type photo receptor. SOLUTION: This developing device has a toner carrier 1 and one component toner is adhered to a surface of the toner carrier and pressure welded with a photo receptor on which an electrostatic latent image is formed to develop the electrostatic latent image by the one component toner. In this case, the toner carrier 1 has a ternary copolymer rubber of ethylene propylene non conjugate diene component containing S or S compound as cross linking agent and in which iodine value is 20 or more and Nooney stickness ML 1+4 is 60 or more at 100 deg. C as its main component and a ternary copolymer rubber layer 8 including lubricant of solid powder type of aliphatic acid or aliphatic acid derivative is mounted is included in the toner carrier 1. |
