<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase average permeability of a magnetic layer as a whole to enhance magnetization ability and improve forgery preventing effect through multilayer structure by providing a soft magnetic layer having a particular coersive force between a substrate and a magnetic recording layer of a magnetic card. SOLUTION: A soft magnetic layer 2 is formed on a substrate 1 by dispersing a soft magnetic material having a coersive force of 50Oe or less into a binder in the binder : magnetic material = about 9: 1 to 1:9 in the weight ratio in order to realize excellent permeability and increase higher reproduced output and also by coating the soft magnetic material in the thickness of 0.5 to 50μm. Next, a magnetic recording layer 3 is coated and formed with the predetermined magnetic material on the soft magnetic layer 2 and a protection layer 4 is provided thereon. By laminating the particular soft magnetic layer on the magnetic recording layer, the permeability of the magnetic layer as a whole can be increased to extend the lines of magnetic force to the magnetic recording layer from the magnetic recording head to obtain sufficient output of the recording and reproduction and moreover effect for preventing forgery can be enhanced through the multilayer structure.</p> |
