The thermal stripper for vine leaves mounted on a chassis (1) comprises a radiant heating element (17) supplied from an appropriate energy source. The radiant element can be articulated on a bracket carried by the frame. It is suspended at the end of a horizontal runner (14), which moves orthogonally to the stripper displacement direction, on a frame (12) which moves parallel to the runner on a transverse beam (7). The position of the frame along the beam is adjusted by means of an actuator (10). The inclination of the beam is adjusted by means of an actuator (8) by rotating about a spindle (6) parallel to the stripper displacement direction. The spindle is carried by a vertical mast (3) which is adjustable in height by means of an actuator (4). The runner has a stop (15) at one end and at the other end a connecting rod (16). The radiant element is suspended at the end of a fork (19) fixed to the connecting rod by a fork angular indexing system (20).
