PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a magnet roller having a satisfactory characteristic, by using rare earth system alloy as magnetic powders mixed in a bond magnetic composition. SOLUTION: In the magnetic roller obtained by forming a bond magnetic composition where magnetic powders are mixed and dispersed in a binder into a roller form, rare earth system alloys are used as the magnetic powders. The alloys have isotropy, or the rare earth alloys are set to be the alloys of rare earth metal selected from Sm, Nd and Ce and the other metals. The binder is made from heat reversible resin obtained by mixing one type or two or more types selected among polyamide resin, polypropylene resin, epoxy resin, ethylene-polyvinyl copolymer resin and ethylene-ethyl acrirate copolymer. The bond magnetic composition where the magnetic powders of rare earth system alloy are mixed is used for the binder and the roller is formed. Then, it is magnetized. |
