<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picker for smoothly pulling out a data cartridge by limiting, when the data cartridge is pulled out from its hosing section, the rotation of the data cartridge and preventing its turning around the corner part of a housing guide so as to avoid blocking. SOLUTION: A feed screw 800 moves a thumb 600 in an x direction with respect to a sleeve associatively with a feed screw nut integrally formed on the thumb. A cartridge is pulled into a sleeve area denoted by a code 800 for carrying. A lower direction member sleeve 404 includes outer and inner tracks 804 and 806 for guiding the pillar of a finger 606. Each of the passages 804 and 806 performs passive actuation and releasing associatively with the finger 606. The finger 606 has two stages, and in a first finger state as a locking state, the pillar of the finger 606 is in the inner track 806, the finger 606 is pulled inward by a spring force and then locked in the notched part of the cartridge.</p> |
