PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attract attention at the time of a route guidance by improving the visibility of a display which displays navigation information and make it easy to grasp the display contents. SOLUTION: The display 4 which displays the navigation information found by a navigation device main body is provided on the top surface of the instrument panel 1 of a vehicle so that it can freely move up and down, and the display 4 is moved up and down by a slide mechanism 11 to change a display screen projecting on the top surface of the instrument panel 1. The navigation device main body, on the other hand, is provided with a display control means which displays the navigation information by maximizing the display screen area projecting on the top surface of the instrument panel 1 of the display 4 by driving the slide mechanism 11 when it is judged that a course guidance is needed according to the navigation information. |
