PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn ON an indicator lamp without permitting brightness of the lamp to depend upon a load capacitance and even when used in combination with other switches or the like. SOLUTION: A push-button switch 5 is connected between an alternating power supply AC and a load L. Since a neon tube PL is connected in parallel to the load L against the alternating power supply AC, if a fixed contact 25a and a movable contact 29 are closed, power is supplied from the alternating power supply AC to the load L via a common terminal plate 15 and a terminal plate 18, and at the same time a voltage substantially equal to a voltage to be applied to the load L is always applied to the neon tube PL via the terminal plates 18 and 19. Therefore, the applied voltage to the neon tube PL is never altered by the capacitance of the load L unlike conventional one, the neon tube PL can always be lit with a certain brightness. Moreover, even when the push-button switch 5 is used in combination with other switches or the like, operation display of the load L can be performed by means of the neon tube PL.
