PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generator and a thermal treatment furnace of which maintenance can be easily carried out, by which the thermal treatment temperature for an object to be heat treated can be made even, and which can carry out thermal treatment uniformly for the object to be heat treated. SOLUTION: This heat generator comprises a first rod-like part 32, a second rod-like part 33, and a curved part 34 which connect one end side 32a of the first rod-like part 32 in the longitudinal direction and one end side 33a of the second rod-like part 33 in the longitudinal direction. The curved part 34 is so curved as to gradually approach to the other end sides 32b, 33b of the first rod-like part 32 and the second rod-like part 33 from both end sides 34a to the center part 34b in the longitudinal direction. |
