PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install the part of an air cleaner at an optimum place in an indoor space, to generate an efficient air convection and thereby to increase the efficiency of dust collection by suspending the part of the air cleaner from the ceiling so as to install it at the position and the height in the central part of the indoor space where the air convection is easiest to generate. SOLUTION: Air is sucked forcibly by a fan 5 from a hole 2 opened on the ceiling side of a case 1 and it is collected by a regulating plate 6 and made to flow downward from a shade 3, below the case 1. An illuminating lamp is installed generally at the center of an indoor space, at a high position being apart a little from the ceiling, and this position is most suitable for convecting indoor air forcibly. Accordingly, a flow of air is separated into the ceiling side and the floor side by the shade 3, the air can be convected forcibly by a fan of the part of an air cleaner installed in the central part of the shade 3, in consequence, in the vicinity of the central part of a circular fluorescent lamp 13 and thus almost the whole smoke flows along the forced convection by the fan in a short time. |
