PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ternary bias output by simple and inexpensive constitution by controlling the timing of the transmission of a single AC high-voltage signal to an output end by a switch circuit. SOLUTION: The bi-directional switch circuit 2 is turned on in a prescribed term by receiving a signal from a timing signal generation circuit 5. An overshoot clip circuit 3 is turned off at the same time that the switch circuit 2 is turned on and changed to be turned on in such prescribed timing that an AC high-voltage output from an AC high-voltage power source 1 is changed to be a high level from a low level. Then, the overshoot part of the AC high- voltage output is clipped. By an undershoot clip circuit 4, the undershoot part of the AC high-voltage output is clipped when the AC high-voltage output is changed to be the low level from the high level first after the switch circuit 2 is turned on. By repeatedly executing such an action, a ternary bias waveform is outputted to a coupling capacitor C. |
