<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the watertightness for a cable wiring closure and improve the safety and airtightness of the closure, without using any sealing tape to the inlets and outlets of a cable connecting section housing body for cables having different diameters and, at the same time, to substantially improve the assembling workability of the housing body. SOLUTION: In a cable wiring closure, an end face plate 3 having cable passing holes 4 is removably inserted into the central section of a side wall section 2, integrally formed with the end face of a cylindrical case 1 and cylindrical hollow spacers 6 are put in the holes 4. Since each spacer 6 is made of a thermoplastic rubber composition having a penetration of 40-90 (10<-1> mm), elongation of 1,500-2,000%, and tensile stress of 0.5-1.5kg/cm<2> , has a cable inserting hole 60 having an inner peripheral surface which comes closely into contact with the external surface of a cable, and has a cutting 63 which formed from the outer periphery so that the cutting 3 can communicate with the hole 60, the watertightness and airtightness of the closure can be secured by filling up the gaps between the cables and holes 4, when the cables are passed through the holes 4.</p> |
